Jeffries' Range of Bridlework
|We are a major stockist of Jeffries Saddlery products. Jeffries make the finest quality English leatherwork and ensure that their manufacturing process is focused on quality and security so you won't be let down by your tack.
For ultimate performance, appearance and safety, choosing a Jeffries' bridle makes perfect sense. Jeffries' uses only the best British bridle butts from quality leather dressers and curriers and Jeffries' bridle leather is always a minimum of 3.75mm thick for maximum strength and durability.
Hides are carefully selected and inspected before going through scrupulous hand preparation. Rounded and sealed edges protect the fibres from the elements and sweat, as well as ensuring comfort for the horse. Stained and sealed, the leather is then buffed and polished to a fine sheen, ready for stitching.
Stress points on the Jeffries Elite, Traditional and Falcon bridles are always double hand-stitched with hand-waxed thread. Every bridle is crafted with at least nine stitches to the inch, and the accuracy and quality of stitching is second to none.
Completed bridlework is carefully checked over once again and finished with more buffing, creating the superior appearance of a Jeffries bridle.
Each piece of bridle work can be identified by its natural flesh coloured back, distinctive white stitching and original Havana leather.
There is a wide choice of bridles, with the Jeffries' Elite range offering the pinnacle of the bridle-maker’s art.
The Traditional range continues to use the design and manufacturing technique developed by Jeffries in the late sixties while the Falcon bridles are of a modern and distinctive design.
The Wembley range of sturdy bridlework is made using quality materials intended for everyday use.
